Service Description
Once you’ve mastered centering and cylinders in Level 1, it’s time to move into Level 2. Offering the same amount of instruction as the 6-week class in a shorter time period. A brief review of the basics will be followed by 4 weeks of instruction in more complicated forms like pitchers, mugs, and bowls. Learn to make and attach handles. Practice forming elegantly bowed bases and collars. Incorporate advanced techniques to alter the rims and bodies by cutting and indenting. Course fee includes 25 pounds of clay, use of tool kit, shelf space, all glazes and firings, plus additional 35+ Open Practice hours in which students are encouraged to practice and play.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can throw curve balls and that there will be times when students will find it necessary to change their class bookings. Similarly, Pottery Works strives to bring you the region’s best, most skillful instructors, and we truly value their time and commitment to teaching in our studio, so while we cannot not offer refunds for missed classes, we are willing to work toward rescheduling services (once only), provided we are given 72 hours notice. We do not issue refunds. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
