ABOUT US

Local business owners, Tina & Tammie of Cinch Art Space have partnered with local potter and owner of Claybed Ceramics, Ed Feldman to create Cortland’s first community pottery studio, in the historic Cortland Corset Building on the city’s East Side. 

We are excited to announce our next session of studio classes which will run through the months of May and June 2022. 

OUR CLASSES

Introductory and advanced exposure to, and skill building in, the art of wheel throwing. 

Create functional vessels or sculptural objects by exploring the fundamental techniques of hand-building.

Designed for our youngest potters ages 8-15, we offer hand-building techniques and wheel throwing.

A multi week course designed for young potters (roughly 8-18) that is scheduled to accommodate homeschooling families.

Suitable for all ages, choose from a selection of bisqueware and glazes to design your own custom creation.

For adults only, choose from a selection of bisqueware and glazes to design your own custom creation. BYOB and snacks suggested!

Create the perfect birthday, anniversary or friends and family private party event using our wheels, glazing, and hand-building stations.
