Cinch Art Space is teaming up with Cortland’s new ceramics studio, Pottery Works, and offering a day of Hands-On Art at the Corset Building. This Saturday, from 11 am to 4 pm, you can meet the artists, tour the studios, and even get your hands dirty doing real art. Try stone carving with Master Stone Carver Franco Minervini, and meet Pottery Works’ own Ed Feldman as he guides a Raku firing. You can even make your own raku fired pot to take home. HighKey Science and Art by Emily Gibbons will be there, and building artists are offering studio tours and sales. Bring the entire family out to the Corset Building on East Court Street, between Pendleton and Pomeroy and Celebrate the Arts in Cortland.
